The other evening the sun was setting on the bustling market in Üsküdar, which is on the Asian side of the city.  Even though I was in a hurry I just had to stop and take a photo of this cart of greens.  I was impressed by the balance and composition in particular.  Anyone who can make lettuce look this good has got to be a talent - !

(Note the Ottoman architecture in the background - that is a tiny library  - hundreds of years old - that is now closed to the public.  My father has told me that he apparently found peace and quite there as a young and serious student)
