Utku not only translates my posts, he is also one of a troop of friends who takes care of my Turkish cat when I'm not in Istanbul.  Ligor looks like he's jet black, but in fact he's got tiger stripes on him.  His eyes are the color of yellow grapes.  He's very sweet.  I found him in the courtyard of a mosque in Üsküdar, on the Asian side of Istanbul.  But actually, he's the one who picked me!
